Linux Systems Administrator

We are expanding and with a rapidly growing infrastructure, we are looking for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator who possesses an in-depth knowledge of Linux System Behavior and Networking technologies and fundamentals. You will be part of a small team maintaining a mixed Windows and Linux environment of desktops and servers.
Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of systems, applications and internal/external networks
- Troubleshooting of system, application and network performance issues, diagnosing problems and correcting issues
- Assistance with disaster recovery planning and execution
- Participation in 24/7 on-call rotation
Requirements
- 5 years of Systems Administration in a Linux environment (Ubuntu or Debian preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
- Strong Shell and Perl scripting skills
- Solid knowledge of MySQL
- Firm understanding of Linux, Networking and TCP/IP fundamentals
- History of successful implementation of individual and team projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with load balancing
- Experience with Remote OS Support and Out of Bank Management (DRAC/IPMI/ALOM)
- Experience with configuration management
- Experience with monitoring, discovery and trending tools
